Viewing and Editing User Profiles
Overview
User Profiles represent individuals who have registered through your clients in Next Identity. Within the console, you can easily view and manage these profiles to ensure your data remains accurate and up to date.
This guide outlines how to locate, view, and edit user profiles in the Next Identity Console.
Prerequisites
You must have access to the Next Identity Console.
Ensure you have the appropriate permissions to view or edit user profiles.
Steps
1. Access the User Profiles Section
Open the Next Identity Console.
In the left-hand menu, navigate to Profiles.
The screen will display a list of all user profiles registered across the clients you've created.
2. Select the Appropriate Data Source
At the top right of the screen, use the Data Source selector to choose the environment you wish to view (e.g., Development or Production).
Selecting a data source shows user profiles registered in that environment.
3. Search and Sort Profiles
Use the search bar to find profiles by Name, Family Name, Email, Mobile, or UUID.
You can also sort the table by any of these fields to locate the desired profile more easily.
4. View a User Profile
In the Actions column, select View for the profile you wish to examine.
You will be redirected to the View User Profile screen, which includes:
Basic Information: Name, Family Name, Company Name, and Address
Password: Indicates if a password is associated with the profile (masked for security with
***)Two-step Verification: Shows whether this feature is enabled
Legal Acceptances: Displays the latest accepted version and date, or indicates if the user has not yet accepted any terms
5. Edit a User Profile
Return to the User Profiles list and locate the profile you want to edit.
In the Actions column, select Edit.
You will be redirected to the Edit User Profile screen, which is similar to the View screen but with editable fields.
Make the necessary changes and select Save to apply your updates.
What Happens Next
Once saved, changes to the user profile are immediately reflected in the selected environment. Audit logs track these updates to ensure traceability and compliance.
