Invite End Users to Your App
Overview
If your client is configured with the Invite-Only registration type, you can invite end users to your application through a guided pre-registration process. This approach is ideal when self-registration is not available or when you want more control over who accesses your app.
Invitations trigger a notification (via email or SMS) prompting users to complete and activate their accounts.
Prerequisites
Before inviting users, ensure the following:
The client is configured with Registration Type: Invite-Only
Supported languages are defined in your application settings
Steps
Go to the Client Details screen in the Next Identity Console.
In the Design your user journeys section, locate the Register card.
Select the Invite user button.
A modal will appear. Fill in the following fields:
Full name of the user
Email address or Mobile number (depending on the client’s authentication type)
Language in which the user should receive the invitation
(Options are based on your supported languages configuration)
Select Invite to send the invitation.
What Happens Next
If the authentication type is email, the user receives the invitation via email.
If the authentication type is mobile, the invitation is sent via SMS.
The message contains all necessary instructions for the user to complete their account setup. Once the user verifies their contact information and sets up credentials, the account will be activated and ready for use.
