Overview

The Analyze section on the Next Identity Console homepage provides a quick overview of key analytics metrics for each of your clients. This includes user registrations, account activations, logins, and drop-offs. These insights help you monitor user engagement, identify friction points, and compare performance across multiple clients.

Prerequisites

Before analytics can be displayed:

  • You must have at least one client configured in your environment.

  • The client should have a functioning authentication journey.

  • At least one user must have completed registration and signed in.

Steps

  1. Log in to the Next Identity Console.
Use your credentials to access your dashboard.

  2. Navigate to the Homepage.
Upon logging in, you will be directed to the homepage where the Analyze component is located.

  3. Check for Empty State (if applicable).
If your clients have not yet recorded any user activity, the Analyze component may show an empty state with guidance on how to get started.

  4. Generate Activity for Analytics:
    a. Go to the Client Details screen.
    b. Click Run Authentication Journey.
    c. Complete the journey by registering and activating a new user account.
    d. Sign in using the newly registered user credentials.

  5. Return to the Homepage.
The Analyze component should now display updated analytics reflecting user activity.

  6. Use the Client Filter to Compare Performance.
If you manage multiple clients, use the filter at the top of the Analyze component to switch between clients or compare data across them.

What Happens Next

Once user activity is detected, the Analyze component will display the following metrics per client:

  • Total Registrations: Number of users who initiated registration.

  • Total Activations: Number of users who successfully completed account activation.

  • Total Logins: Number of successful sign-ins.

  • Total Drop-offs: Number of users who abandoned the flow before completing activation.

These metrics update automatically and offer a snapshot of client performance over time.
